SI14 enters an important collaboration Agreement with Incotex Holding Company

Si14 has signed a License Manufacturing Agreement with the Moscow - Russia based Incotex Holding Company.
In force of this partnership, Incotex will manufacture the Mirach module (Intel Atom) for use in a wide range of its products (cash registers, POS, IP cameras, scales etc.) and for distribution within in the countries of C.I.S.

OUR LATEST GOAL: INTEGRATE ANDROID INTO YOUR PRODUCT
After several months of research, Android OS successfully runs on Si14 iMX28 board. This is a great success for both Kynetics and Si14 and represents the first step of a strong partnership whose goal is to provide efficient and state of the art solutions for companies who are considering embedding Android in their products.
Si14 and Kynetics are aware that expanding Android into new markets is the latest challenge that OS developers and companies have to face in order to provide increasingly smart and usable devices.
Focused on this challenge, these two companies started a partnership that is showing good results.
After Imx28, the two companies aim at integrating Android into iMX51!

ANDROID FOR EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
Initially introduced on mobile technology, Android potential can be successfully applied in a wide range of embedded applications based on Arm or Cortex boards.
Although Android is a recent technology, it has already demonstrated to be a proper OS for the development of devices using wireless communications, mainly smartphones and tablets.
